Natum AI, Inc. ("Natum," "we," "us," or "our") is a Delaware corporation committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at natum.ai (the "Website").
By using the Website, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Website.
This policy applies to the natum.ai Website only. It does not cover data processed through the Natum platform on behalf of our financial institution customers. This policy covers Website visitors, people who request demos, newsletter subscribers, and job applicants who apply through our site.
If you're a borrower or loan applicant whose data is processed through our platform by your bank or credit union, please contact your financial institution directly — they control how your data is handled.
When you interact with our Website — requesting a demo, filling out a form, subscribing to updates, or applying for a job — you may provide:
Contact info — name, email, phone number, mailing address
Professional info — job title, company name, company size, department
Inquiry details — messages, demo requests, product questions
Job application info — resume, cover letter, work history, education, references
When you visit the Website, we automatically collect some technical and usage data:
Device info — browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution
Network info — IP address, approximate location (city/region level)
Usage data — pages viewed, time on page, clicks, referring URL, date and time
Cookies — cookie identifiers and similar tracking data (see Section 7)
We may receive information about you from analytics providers (like Google Analytics), business data enrichment services (like Clearbit or LinkedIn), and publicly available sources. We may combine this with information we collect directly.
We use your information to operate the Website, respond to your inquiries and demo requests, personalize your experience, and understand how visitors use the site so we can make it better.
We may send you product updates, newsletters, event invitations, and marketing communications where permitted by law. You can opt out anytime by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or emailing privacy@natum.ai.
We use your information to evaluate job applications, detect and prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect the safety of our users and the public.
We analyze usage to improve our outreach, conduct business planning, and create aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer identify you — which we may use for any lawful purpose.
We process your information on these grounds:
• Consent — when you opt in, like subscribing to a newsletter or requesting a demo.
• Legitimate interests — when processing supports our business (improving the Website, marketing) and doesn't override your rights.
• Contractual necessity — when we need to perform an agreement with you or take steps at your request before entering one.
• Legal obligation — when we need to comply with the law.
We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Here's when we do share it:
We work with third-party providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics, CRM, and cloud infrastructure. They're contractually required to use your information only to provide services to us.
If Natum is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction. We'll notify you of any change in ownership or how your information is used.
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Natum, our users, or the public.
We may share information when you explicitly ask us to.
We may share anonymized, aggregated data that can't identify you — for research, analytics, or other purposes.
We use cookies — small data files stored on your device — to help the Website work properly and to understand how it's being used.
What We Use
Strictly necessary — required for the Website to function. Can't be disabled.
Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the Website (e.g., Google Analytics).
Functional — remember your preferences and personalize your experience.
We don't currently use marketing or advertising cookies and don't engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we'll update this policy and implement appropriate opt-out options.
Managing Cookies
You can adjust your browser settings to decline cookies, though some parts of the Website may not work as expected. Learn more at allaboutcookies.org.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website. It uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect usage data like pages visited, session duration, and referral sources. We don't use Google Analytics for advertising. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), and you can learn how Google handles partner-site data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We don't use AI or automated decision-making to make decisions about Website visitors that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
The Website doesn't use AI-driven profiling or algorithmic scoring. Our AI and proprietary scoring engines operate only within the Natum platform, which is provided to financial institutions under separate agreements.
We may use AI-assisted tools internally to analyze aggregate traffic patterns or improve our content. These don't involve automated decisions that affect you individually.
We protect the information we collect with commercially reasonable safeguards, including:
• Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL);
• Access controls on a need-to-know basis;
• Regular security monitoring and testing; and
• Team training on privacy and security best practices.
No system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection. If you believe your interaction with us has been compromised, please contact us immediately at security@natum.ai.
We keep your information only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes it was collected for — including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When it's no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to:
• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• Delete your information (with certain exceptions);
• Get a portable copy of your data in a standard format;
• Restrict or object to certain types of processing, including direct marketing; and
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that already occurred.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@natum.ai. We'll respond within the timeframe required by law and may need to verify your identity first. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you're a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you specific rights. Here's what you need to know.
What We've Collected
Over the past 12 months, we may have collected these categories from Website visitors:
A. Identifiers — name, email, IP address, company name. Sold: No. Shared for ads: No.

Sensitive Personal Information
We don't intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Website. That said, if you submit a resume or cover letter, it may incidentally contain sensitive details. We only use such information to evaluate your application — nothing else.
Your California Rights
You can:
• Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
• Delete your personal information (with certain exceptions);
• Correct inaccurate information;
• Opt out of sale or sharing — though we don't sell or share your data for advertising;
• Limit sensitive PI use — though we don't use it beyond what's described above; and
• Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To submit a request, email privacy@natum.ai. You can also have an authorized agent submit a request on your behalf with proper written authorization. We'll respond within the timeframe required by law.
Financial Incentives
We don't offer discounts or incentives in exchange for your personal information.
There's no universal standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, so we don't currently respond to them.
We do recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where required by law (including CCPA/CPRA), we treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out of sale or sharing. Since we don't currently sell or share personal information for advertising, a GPC signal wouldn't change how we handle your data today — but if our practices change, we'll honor GPC signals as required. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Our Website isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please let us know at privacy@natum.ai and we'll delete it promptly.
Our Website may link to other sites we don't control. This policy doesn't cover those sites — we encourage you to read their privacy policies. A link doesn't mean we endorse the site.
We operate from the United States. If you're visiting from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from your home country. By using the Website, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this policy as our practices, technology, or legal requirements evolve. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date and provide notice where practicable. Continuing to use the Website after changes are posted means you accept them.
